Not gonna lie this country really surprised me and is pretty high up there for me. The landscape is beautiful, the food was delicious, the wine 🍷 (it’s the oldest wine making country in the world)…absolutely loved exploring the regions and Tbilisi, the capital. @araratour

Still catching up from my trip to the Caucasus and going through my camera photos (a never ending story).

We visited quite a few monasteries in Armenia 🇦🇲 and they are in some of the most beautiful locations. This one is the Haghartsin Monastery and it’s surrounded by mountains (wish I had brought my drone 😩).

The most beautiful location in Armenia and my favo

The most beautiful location in Armenia and my favorite spot traveling through this country. Khor Virap sits near the border of Turkey at the foot of Mount Ararat and has the most beautiful view 🤩.

On my @araratour, we stopped just before the monastery at a small sunflower field which was in full bloom 🌻. The day before was rainy and we couldn’t see Mount Ararat at all, so to have it so clear + the timing of the blooms—I think this is my new fave photo!

Georgia 🇬🇪 is a GEM.

I was so so surprised by this country and went in not knowing what to expect at all. As soon as we crossed the border, you could already see how beautiful the landscape was going to be. And even the drives were stunning.

One of the tour days with @araratour took us outside of Tbilisi (the capital) and we had several stops at beautiful mountain locations. This one is the Georgia-Russian Friendship Monument and I can’t get over the views 🤩.

Wrapped up my trip exploring the Caucasus region with @araratour and saw so many beautiful locations!

I wasn’t sure what to expect but each country was so unique. Armenia has so much history and endless beautiful churches and monasteries to visit.

Yerevan, the capital, is also known as ‘the pink city’ as a lot of buildings are made from the surrounding pink rock. It’s a lively, very safe city with lots of restaurants and parks. If you go to a vantage point on a clear day, you can also see Mount Ararat behind the city 🏔️!
